Return or Exchange


REFUNDS

Refunds will be offered within 14 days of original purchase date for all items purchased in the showroom and meet the conditions stated in paragraph B.. If 14 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

For all on-line purchases, we ask that you first contact us either by phone or e-mail to obtain an RMA number (return authorization).  Refunds will be offered for item returned within 20 days of original purchase which meet the conditions stated in paragraph B.

A. All products sold are in new and unused condition (unless otherwise stated in the description such as open box or display items) 
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can contact us to request to return the item.

B. To be eligible for a refund, all items must be returned new/unused and in the same condition that you received them with all original materials in their original packaging within either 14 days or 20 days of purchase date depending if purchased in person or if purchased on-line. The item must be accompanied with an original copy of the purchase receipt clearly showing purchase date. (some restrictions apply - see below for specifics) and the RMA numbers issued or all on-line orders.  Items returned without an RMA number may be rejected for refund - please contact us to avoid any issues.

*Any item that has been used, modified or damaged in anyway will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Any returned item not meeting return requirements can be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the product regular price or a complete decline of the refund. Any product that has been declined due to the reasons stated above, expert island will contact you to tell you of the decision and your product can/will be returned to you (the customer) at your expense.

There are certain costs that are not refundable on returns. They include but are not restricted to:

- Shipping charges - original shipping charges 
- Shipping charges to return the item for refund is at the customer’s expense.
- Shipping charges for returned items due to lack of/missing address information or unclaimed parcel pick ups which are shipped back to us. 

RESTRICTED REFUND ITEMS

These items are not eligible for refunds (unless the seal on the box is not broken), due to the nature of the item but can and will be exchanged if defective within 15 days from expert island or be subject to the warranty stated and given by the manufacturer of each brand. Items to be exchanged must be of equal or greater value.

- Over-the-ear Headphones 
- Megaphones 
- Microphones 
- PA Systems

- DJ Speakers
- Assembled stands (Laptop, iPad, TV)
- Installed speakers, headunits, in-wall/in-ceiling speakers
- Cut LED lighting strips
- Cut speaker wire
- All stage or DJ lighting
- All Fog, Bubble or Snow machines
- Items in plastic encased/sealed packaging (unless plastic packaging has not been opened) ie; tools, screen cleaners, computer mice, DVD's, etc.....

Non-refundable items - for sanitary reasons

- Earrings
- In-ear Headphones/Headsets 
- Bluetooth Hats
- Sport Watches
- Heart Rate/Pulse Watches
- Gloves


To complete your return, we require a receipt for proof of purchase.

Please DO NOT send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Expert Island - 2538 Speers Road, Unit #10, Oakville, Ontario CA L6L 5K9

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.  

**Also, reshipping cost are not eligible for any shipping promotions - meaning the reduced or free shipping promotion will not be applied to exchanged items.**

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (with approval)

PROCESSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at service@expertisland.com.

FINAL SALE/CLEARNACE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately final sale/clearance items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@expertisland.com and then your item is to be shipped back to: Expert Island - 2538 Speers Road Unit #10 Oakville Ontario CA L6L 5K9

WARRANTY (if applicable)
All items come with a warranty except clearance and final sale items or items identified as such. Please see list below for the warranty period and coverage  for specific brands.


For all orders purchased from within or outside of Canada, the customer is responsible to pay for the shipping of the return to Expert Island for warranty service, exchanges or refunds. Shipping costs for warrantied items may be covered by the manufacturer depending on their specific warranty program.  All warranty service items must be accompanied with a  copy of the original purchase receipt, clearing showing date of purchase.

PYLE, PYLE Home, PYLE Sports, PYLE Pro, Lanzar, Legacy, Pyramid brand of products come with a 1 year from date of purchase manufacturer warranty

 Acoustic Audio brand products come with a 90 day from date of purchase exchange warranty

 Power Pro Audio brand products come with a 90 day from purchase date exchange warranty.

Island Brand products come with a 90 day from purchase date warranty unless otherwise stated.

 All items tagged as clearance, final sale, open box or display model will have varying warranty depending on the brand of the item and what the condition the product is in - in these cases these items warranty will be noted in the showroom or on the website before purchase.
